Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-20
These terms govern your use of the online booking service ({{product_name}}) that {{office_name}} ("the Office") uses to schedule appointments, take payments and send reminders. By booking an appointment, creating an account or using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service; you can contact the Office directly to book instead.
1. Who is who
{{office_name}} is an independent massage practice. It provides your massage services, decides what information it collects from you and why, and is responsible for that information. {{product_name}} is the software the Office runs on; it hosts and processes your information on the Office's behalf and under the Office's instructions. {{product_name}} does not provide massage or health care services.
2. Booking, changing and cancelling
- You may book only for yourself, or for another adult who has agreed to be booked, or as a gift for someone else.
- A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation by email or text message. Keep your confirmation link: it lets you reschedule or cancel without an account.
- The Office sets its own cancellation and late-cancellation rules, and they are shown to you when you book. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged a fee as described at booking.
- The Office may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If it does, you will be told as early as possible.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars at booking. Any tax, add-on or travel charge is shown before you confirm.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your full card number is entered on Stripe's secure form and is never stored by the Office or by {{product_name}}. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
- Gift sessions and packages are described when you buy them, including any expiry date. Their balance is the Office's record of what remains.
- Refunds are decided by the Office under its own cancellation rules and applicable law.
4. Text messages and email
By giving your mobile number and booking, you agree that the Office may text you about your appointment: confirmations, reminders, changes, and replies to your messages. These are service messages, not advertising. Message frequency depends on your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.
You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or write to {{support_email}}. After you reply STOP you will no longer get text reminders, and you may need to confirm your appointments another way. Marketing messages are sent only if you separately agreed to receive them, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.
5. Health information and intake forms
A massage practice needs some health information to treat you safely. You agree to give accurate answers on intake forms and to tell your therapist about any change in your health. Massage is not a substitute for medical care, and the Office does not diagnose conditions. Your therapist's treatment notes are kept encrypted. How your information is collected, used and protected is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Your account
If you create an account, keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. The Office may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service, harass staff, or commit fraud.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to send spam, to probe or disrupt the site, to attempt to reach information that is not yours, or to book in someone else's name without permission.
8. Your information: export and deletion
You may ask the Office for a copy of your information or for it to be deleted. Write to {{support_email}} and we will respond within 30 days. Some records may have to be kept for the period the law requires, such as financial records. When an office stops using the service, your information is kept for 30 days after cancellation so that it can be handed back to the Office, and then it is removed from the service.
9. Availability
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. If the site is down, please contact the Office directly.
10. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither the Office nor {{product_name}} is liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the booking service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for injury caused by negligence during a treatment, which is governed by the Office's professional obligations and insurance rather than by these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or on the site. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [State], unless the law gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
